Virtual Access JavaScript Redirection Generator
For Unparking/Unstacking Domains

The generated script will automatically redirect a browser to your parked/stacked domain based on the URL of the browser.  It will work unless the user has Java turned off in their web browser, in which case the JavaScript will be ignored

Enter your domain name and the subdirectory where your stacked domain resides (as below):
(Do not include the "www" prefix, it is already assumed.)
www.

Enter the new domain name you want to stack onto your parent domain (as below):
(Again, do not include the "www" prefix, it is already assumed.))

www.

When you click on "Process Request" below, a new window will appear containing two JavaScripts.
Cut and paste the first generated JavaScript code onto your master/parent domain home page before
the </head> maker in your HTML code.  This performs the redirection to your subdomain.  Cut and
the second generated JavaScript code onto each page of your subdomain.  Again, past the script
before the </head> marker in your subdomain HTML pages.  This second script makes sure the
browser displays the subdomain name and not the master domain name in the browser location field.

This routine was created and is offered for free by Dan McAfee of Bryher Connections.  Feel free to
email me at Bryher@bryher.com if you have troubles.  I will answer as possible.  The generated JavaScripts
work for me, but please use at your own risk.

Notes:   If your stacked/parked domain is not in a subdirectory, then replace "subdirectory" above with the name of the page, like "index2.html" or whatever your parked/stacked domain page is named.

Depending on the current speed of the browser connection, you might see your main page pop up for a second before being redirected to the parked/stacked domain.  There's little that can be done about this.  I recommend putting as few graphics on your main page as possible to reduce the loading time.  Some people consider this popping up a nice advertising feature.  Others just remind themselves that parked/stacked domains cost next to nothing compared to buying a second site.
